The two loves of my life -- from DAD

As you know, daddy and husband travels a lot. When I travel, Michelle has to not only care for two crazy and depressed pups (at least Miya is depressed) and our new precious one. I have to really give a shout out to my beautiful wife Michelle and say Thanks...Thank you for being such a wonderful mom and wife and for being the glue that holds our family together! Love you so!

Splish Splash

Little Miss Kennedy is learning how to splash these days. I even had to put a towel on the floor because her tub runneth over! This VIDEO is just a little glimpse of her in action.

Kennedy had her first dip in the pool today. Her Godmother Jen said that she looks like Elton John in these sunglasses!

Say Cheese

As many of you know, Kennedy had her pictures taken last week. Judging from the announcement that was sent out, you all probably thought how sweet and good natured she was. Ha! It was actually a very stressful time for both her and mom. Just so you're not all fooled by her cuteness, I started off with this picture as proof that her first photo shoot wasn't all that jovial. But as you continue on down, you can see that things got better, moods changed, tears came and went, and we were actually able to capture a few good moments without the binky!

First Father's Day

I had this picture enlarged to an 11x14 and got it framed for Brandon's Father's Day present. Originally, I was going to put it above Kennedy's crib, but decided on another wall instead. It took a couple of tries to get the shot just right because Kennedy kept wiggling her way off his back, but in the end I think it came out just right. So precious. Happy Father's Day, Brandon. Love you so.

Hey everyone, I know it seems like Michelle has been a single mother, doing such a wonderful job, but I am here and back from London in one piece and trying to get my daughter to remember who I am. It really sucks going out of town, especially when your daughter is just getting to know you.

Any who, just wanted everyone to know how proud I am of my beautiful wife and daughter and that I love them so much.....oh yeah and I know how to properly dress Kennedy now!

Binky to the rescue

Apparently, Kennedy doesn't like the new outfit I got her. Maybe she's sick of me dressing her in pink or maybe she thinks the checkered sunsuit makes her look fat. Regardless, her reaction says it all.

There's a first for everything

Kennedy is 10 weeks old now and already so many milestones. Here's just a few things that she's accomplished:

• Sucked her thumb for the first time
• Rolled over on her side and slept that way (she even got a case of bedhead afterwards)
• Moved up a size and now fits in 3-month-old clothing
• Slept for 6 hours straight
• Recognized her daddy's voice when on speaker phone (well, she stopped sucking on her bottle when he was talking to her in the high pitched voice that he does, so I think that counts; right?)
• Changed her own diaper...wait, I think I dreamt that one

Dear Dad

Dad, I just wanted to tell you that I miss you feeding me my breakfast. Also, you'll be happy to know that I finally graduated from NB clothing to 3 months. Yay!! The house is so quiet without you. Can't wait for you to get home. Love, Kennedy

Lindsey's visit

Since Brandon had to go to London for work, one of my best friends from high school flew out to keep KD and I company. I wish I could say that we had a really exciting time and I showed her all around the area, but the truth is that's just not the case. In fact, the most exciting thing we probably did was go to Target. Poor Lindsey. I did, however, get my ice cream fix while she was here and there was at least one day that was perfect pool weather. I know, that sounds weird since we live in Arizona and it's ALWAYS sunny and hot, but lately it's been really cloudy. Anyway, Kennedy loved falling asleep in her arms and I loved just having her here.

Little Wynnie

Our friends Holly, Adrian and Wynnie were in town this past weekend. We had such a great time swimming, EATING and just relaxing with them. Love you guys.

First time Dad

Let me start by saying that Brandon is going to kill me for this, but I just think it's so cute and too good not to share. This was the first time Brandon dressed Kennedy. I came upstairs to check on her and found her like this. If you look closely, you can tell that she has her onesie on backwards. The buttons are unbuttoned in the front and the little cutout design is in the back. It still makes me smile and warms my heart. I love you, Brandon, and you're a great, great dad!

Testing it out

This is our first attempt at blogging. Since Facebook hasn't made its way into our lives, we decided to share Kennedy's life through a blog. I hope we're doing this right. More to come...
