Our Saturdays begin with ornamenting ourselves in splashes of red and white. And black, if we happen to wake in a defensive state. From a stranger's perspective, our family looks like perhaps our last name is "N" and we're headed to the "N" family reunion.
Once again, Grandpa H. graced us with his presence. And in between preparing fancy little dinner parties and doing crosswords, he found time for some lazy afternoon dancing with Miss K.
Feeling confident her new dance partner wouldn't bite, Kennedy gave in to curiosity and dared to pet the goat(ee).
As the summer continues to draw out and, in my opinion, completely overstay her welcome, we're still finding ourselves seeking relief in the pool.
And just today I was talking with GM Jen about banana muffins. And it got me thinking. I need to replenish my banana graveyard and get some banana goods baking in the oven.
What's even better than fresh-out-of-the-oven banana muffins is a good helper. I have a certain someone in mind. Now, if only I can get her to stop eating the fixings, stem and all, so we can collect some banana casualties.
Then, certainly we can put this tip-toe balancing act to good use.
And, last but not least, lately we've been rockin' the birthday suit. And loving it.
Apparently, a naked bum makes you want to run and proclaim freedom.
And dare anyone to catch you exuding such confidence and happiness.
