We've been working on a few things at Michelle's School of Baby Development (MSOBD). Last week our lesson plan was learning to "moo" like a cow. After a few mishaps of confusing a "roar" for a "moo" and accidentally saying "maa" instead of "moo," Kennedy joined the rest of the cows out to pasture and mooed the night away. Subsequently, Kennedy was awarded a gold star and a smiley face in this subject.
Since MSOBD is very strict and doesn't allow its student(s) to have the weekends off, Saturday and Sunday's lesson focused on barking like a dog. Although very faint at first, Kennedy's bark, or "arf" in her case, is there and quite adorable. We can only hope that her bark is bigger than her bite in the future. Again, gold star and a smiley face to Miss Hokenstad.
And that brings us to today's curriculum. Today, the pupil was asked to stick her tongue out. After a few demonstrations from the head administrator, Kennedy caught on to what was being asked of her. However, she is a little stubborn with this subject and doesn't always want to participate. Seeing that it is the first day on this subject, we have decided to cut her a little slack and still award her with a smiley face; however, in order to achieve her gold star status, she needs to be more forthcoming when asked to stick her tongue out.
Overall, we see no reason that Kennedy can't achieve and maintain honorary status at Michelle's School of Baby Development. She's been an absolute delight to work with and we look forward to the upcoming and endless school sessions. Below is a picture of her in class today working on sticking out her tongue.
